Functional medicine is more about understanding and optimizing the organ function and finding the root cause (i.e. WHY) of the problem not just the diagnosis (i.e. WHAT). Lifestyle medicine is a medical specialty that uses therapeutic lifestyle interventions as a primary modality to treat chronic conditions including, but not limited to, cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and obesity. Lifestyle medicine certified clinicians are trained to apply evidence-based, whole-person, prescriptive lifestyle change to treat and, when used intensively, often reverse such conditions. Applying the six pillars of lifestyle medicine—a whole-food, plant-predominant eating pattern, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances and positive social connections—also provides effective prevention for these conditions.
As a patient, you need a healthcare provider who can take care of all your medical needs - from diagnosing and treating acute illnesses to managing chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. That’s where primary care comes in, offering a comprehensive and continued approach to your healthcare needs, no matter your age or health status.
At our primary care clinic, we provide the following services:

We give supplements especially when the recommended diet is not met. This type of treatment shines especially in managing non-communicable chronic disease.

In 2013, the first live-in Lifestyle REDO intervention was implemented, which ranges from 7 to 24 weeks intervention. The digital platform of Lifestyle REDO was conceptualized in 2018, and its development started in 2019 under the management of Lifestyle Medicine Solutions Inc.The program consists of an evidence-based intervention to empower individuals with knowledge and skills to help them achieve better overall health outcomes and greater quality of life. Lifestyle interventions have been shown to prevent, treat, or even reverse many chronic conditions, such as prediabetes and diabetes, heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure, arthritis, autoimmune diseases, kidney and liver diseases, depression, and more. The Lifestyle REDO program will assist individuals in making lasting changes with noticeable outcomes.
The core of Lifestyle REDO is rooted in the six pillars of lifestyle medicine that form the foundation of health: nutrition, physical activity, improved sleep, stress management, positive relationships, and avoiding risky substances. The program can be delivered in a customized care plan that includes a combination of online sessions, group, or individual visits, and in-person options. The program will last 12 months with 5 phases: Preparation, Transition, Jumpstart, Intensive, and Maintenance. The first 12-week segment is the active intervention phase, the next 12-week segment is the active monitoring phase, and the remaining six months is the active support phase.
